You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment.

We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.

For example:

  1. A member of the Starlite Dental team will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions.  You will be asked the same questions again 30 minutes before your appointment.
  2. Please do not arrive early for your appointment.  You will be asked to wait outside the practice until we are ready to see you in the surgery.
  3. Ring the bell and step back onto the gravelled area the other side of the pavement 2 meters away.
  4. You will be provided with a mask (if you did not bring your own) and a clear bag. Please ensure that you wear the mask until instructed to remove it by Dr Dhutia once in the surgery.  When the mask is removed please ensure you place it in the bag provided ready for you to put back on once your dental treatment is completed.
  5. Your temperature will be taken when you enter.
  6. You will be asked to use the hand sanitiser when you enter the practice.  You will also be provided with disposable gloves to wear.
  7. Please ONLY bring in essential personal items to the practice.  A bag/box will be provided for you to place all your possession into while you are here.
  8. We are no longer able to allow patient to sit in the waiting area so no drinks, magazines or children’s toys will be available. The toilet will not be available except in emergency situations.  All patients visiting will be shown directly into the surgery to avoid all unnecessary contact with staff and minimise the time you spend in the practice.

  9. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing.

  11. This will mean that you will be offered fewer options for rescheduling your appointment.  We will be allowing a 1hour gap between each patient to ensure effective highquality infection control procedures can be maintained.
